- 1. Download the RIDE EWAY App
- The first step is to download the RIDE EWAY app. It's available on both the App Store. After downloading, create your RIDE EWAY account using your email address.
- 2. Find a Scooter
- Open the RIDE EWAY app and look for a nearby scooter on the map. Scooters are indicated by icons on the map. Tap on an icon to see the scooter's charge level and approximate location.
- 3. Unlock the Scooter
- Once you've found a scooter, tap the "Unlock" button in the app. Scan the QR code located on the scooter using your phone's camera. The scooter will beep, and the lock will disengage, indicating it's ready to ride.
- 4. Ride Safely
- When riding, always follow local traffic laws. Use the bike lanes where available, and never ride on sidewalks. Always keep both hands on the handlebars, and stay alert to your surroundings. Remember to wear a helmet for safety.
- 5. Parking and Ending Your Ride
- Park the scooter responsibly when you're finished. Don't block pedestrian paths, entrances, or exits. End your ride in the RIDE EWAY app to lock the scooter and stop the charges from accruing.
- 6. Reporting Issues
- If you encounter any issues during your ride, report them directly through the RIDE EWAY app. Select "Help" from the menu and follow the prompts to report your problem.
- 7. Adding Credit to Your Account
- To add credit to your RIDE EWAY account, go to the "Payment" section in the RIDE EWAY app and follow the prompts to add credit using your preferred payment method.
